This set is great at to play with when completed. It’s includes only one TIE Fighter Pilot minifigure. There is an opening cockpit hatch and a UCS style display to place it on.

Overview
In this set number 9493, with 560 pieces that include four minifigures: Luke Skywalker, R2-D2, new Jek Porkins, and R5-D8. Has by far the best with folding wings that open up quickly, proton torpedoes, and an opening cockpit to place Luke or Jek into. This current design is a good value and more closely resembles the iconic x-wing fighter from the movies. The 2006 set only came with Luke, Biggs, Leia, Han, Chewbacca and R2-D2. We will be doing a comparison of these sets shortly. I enjoyed this set build and design especially the engine detail and design. while the S-Foils look more defined they hold up and don’t tend to come loose after a while of play. The only grip that I have is that you have to put the droid lengthwise which is different from how the movie depicts the driod.
Build
This set was relatively fast to build I would say for a experienced builder it took about 3 hours if you want to enjoy the build to about one and a half hours at most to compete if you are rush through for your kid to play with. With the numbered bag system you get 5 bags to make the build more organized. I have enjoyed the numbered bag system that lego uses it helps “brickmark” your build if you need to complete another task and comeback to continue to build later.

3 hours to 1 hour 30 minutes of your time to build.

Scouring the internet for a good price range you can find this set for $59.99 on Lego’s website which states that they are retiring the set soon. Overall this a great set to have for you star wars fans out there. If you still can get this set it’s totally worth the price.

Overview
In this special set that was given away for free at a Toys R Us event, with 42 pieces that only represents the ship in the most micro-of-forms. I rather enjoyed this version pocket sized version that came with a 1 page instruction and a giant sized poster. Yay! poster that has sets from 2014 and then some from the 2015 expected star wars sets.
Build
You’ll need tiny fingers for this build… Though this set is not huge you need some good slender fingers to make things fit together. I think this was meant for a child to build with an adult, which would make it fun for both the parent and child.
Time
10 min to 30 min of your time to build.
Value:
You can’t beat free even if this is a promotional item to get you in the store itself.

In this set number 75048, with 234 pieces that include two minifigures: The Star Wars Rebels series has two Lego set out for you Lego fans. This set being reviewed is the phantom that has a detachable cockpit and spring loaded red missiles launchers. It comes with an Ezra Bridger minifigure with a weapon and helmet, plus a C1-10P (chopper) mini figure. This was one of the quickest to build set for those who are just itching for fast build to play with. It comes as a 2 bag build one for the cockpit that is detatchable and the other bag for the cargo hold. Overall, this build took about 40 minutes plus to build that included some “brickmark” points but it was well worth it if you are into the Star Wars Rebels series. It’s kid friendly once the build has been completed for hours of play. I would give this a 8 out of 10 score because of the simplicity of the ship as an adult.

It is fast to build for those younger kids that are into building Legos. Though, the build isn’t complex it’s design is quite unique in the Lego Star Wars world..

Scouring the internet for a good price range you can find this set for $24.99 on Lego’s website,. However if you search during the black Friday sales you could find it for cheaper. I saw this set at Target’s store on sale for 19.99. Overall this a great set to have for Star Wars Rebels fans out there. I am looking forward to see more interesting sets to come out for this series. The price point is just right for the amount of bricks that you get with it. Most importantly, for the kids they get the super playability with less bricks falling apart from the build.

In this set number 75051, with 490 pieces that include two minifigures: No longer serving the dark side, Jek-14 now must protect the holocrons from the evil empire with is sleek swooped wing Jedi scout fighter from Lego This sets features include the holocrons, two Jedi minifigures JEK-14 and a Ithorian, an Astromech Driod, RA-7 protocol droid, and a detachable dual cockpit with spring loaded green missiles. This was one of the best and most enjoyable Lego builds out there to date. Partly because of the wings that are built are different, offer more sturdiness and was challenging. Overall, this build took about 2 hours plus to build that included some “brickmark” points but it was well worth the wait. There are definitely countless hours of playability for the product that holds up sturdy for younger kids to build.

This set was relatively challenging to build I would say for a experienced builder it took about 2 hours to complete to about 3 hours at most to compete. With the numbered bag system you get 5 bags to make the build more organized. It’s is what makes the build more fun these days on Lego sets when compared to the old versions of Lego sets. What is good about the bag build is that you can be intensely engaged in the Lego creation and then you can “brickmark” your build if you need to complete another task and comeback to continue to build later.

2 hours to 3 hours of your time to build. It’s possible to build this Lego set in parts based on the numbered bag system in place on the Lego set.

Overall this a great set to have for you star wars fans out there it’s got a good mix of the old clone wars details with a pre-x-wing feel to it. The price point is just right for the amount of bricks that you get with it. Most importantly, for the kids they get the super playability with less bricks falling apart from the build. the only thing that bugged me is the placement of the spring loaded shooters, when you grab
the Lego ship from the back it tends to catch the shooters and fire them off.

Overview
In this set number 75040, with 261 pieces that include two minifigures: Obi-Wan Kenobi and General Grievous. This wheel bike that was seen used by general grievous in episode III of star wars. On the planet of Utapau, this is the vehicle of choice by general grievous. This wheel bike has two modes of propulsion, a wheel mode and the walking mode. The wheel is made up of lego bricks that form the tread with a transparent wheel in the center to allow it to spin when the lego model is built. The feet in walking mode has articulated joints to make them move. This wheel bike is way better then the old one. The general grievous mini figure is a new mold and has greater details in comparison to the 2005, set number 7255 version. I rather enjoyed this version over the original version with it accurately sculpted details and moveable joints on the feet and legs. Obi-Wan mini figure is a warm welcome as well with more detail printing on his body, leg, and the double sided head one with a straight face and the other with the mad face. Overall, the playability is there because of the sturdy build and functionality.
